The association is exclusively focused on cultural and artistic interests. It is a non-profit organisation with the following objectives:
- Provision and management of the premises of the former synagogue in Hegenheim for the development and implementation of artistic projects and their presentation to the public
- The provision of artist residencies.
- The operation of socio-cultural activities to promote encounters, exchange, further education, discourse and debate in the fields of art and science for people of all social classes and ages.
- The preservation and accessibility of historical heritage.
- Tri-regional and international cultural activity.
